Of the 26 self-published, spiral-bound books I have written since 1972, the following are currently available. My technical books are collections of stitch and pattern variations.
Published in 2008, this second volume contains 433 variations of Diagonal, Crossed, Woven, Tied and Miscellaneous needlepoint stitches. Each variation in this 175-page book includes a photograph of a stitched sample and an easy-to-follow diagram.
Published in 1995, this 157-page book contains 551 bands and borders in easy-to-follow diagrams. The variations are based on Mosaic, Straight Gobelin, Crossed, Plaited, Eyelet and Tied stitch in addition to a selection based on Florentine work, Florentine and Pulled Work combined and Pattern Darning.

Published in 1995, this comprehensive, 199-page book, with over 320 stitch pattern variations, explores all facets of silk and metal thread embroidery of the past as are suitable for use in modern-day canvas embroidery. Published in 1999, this 31-page book is a one-of-a-kind. It covers the stitches and variations used in the unique colored silk and metal thread embroidery executed in England between 1558 and 1625. These include narrow and wide line and detached stitches. Many b&w photo illustrattions.

Published in 2010, this 48-page book is a one-of-a-kind. The variations offered are not only suitable for backgrounds but also for the filling of elements within a design, a few for shading these elements and ones with horizontal or vertical units can be arranged as a band or border for the design.
